Terms Used In Utah Code 58-74-303
- Division: means the Division of Professional Licensing created in Section
58-1-103 . See Utah Code 58-1-102 - State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
(1)(a) The division shall issue each state certification under this chapter in accordance with a two-year renewal cycle established by rule.
(1)(b) The division may by rule extend or shorten a renewal cycle by as much as one year to stagger the renewal cycles it administers.
(2) Each applicant shall, at the time of applying for renewal, demonstrate compliance with continuing education requirements established by the division.
(3) Each state certification automatically expires on the expiration date shown on the state certification unless the applicant renews it in accordance with Section 58-1-308.
