The director shall annually prepare and submit to the executive director:

(1) a budget for the expenses of the division and commission for the administration and enforcement of this chapter for the next fiscal year; and

Terms Used In Utah Code 61-1-18.2

  • Commission: means the Securities Commission created in Section Utah Code 61-1-13
  • Director: means the director of the division appointed in accordance with Section 61-1-18. See Utah Code 61-1-13
  • Division: means the Division of Securities established by Section 61-1-18. See Utah Code 61-1-13
  • Executive director: means the executive director of the Department of Commerce. See Utah Code 61-1-13
  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
(2) a report outlining the division’s and commission’s work for the preceding fiscal year.
