(1) Each independent corporation is subject to:
Terms Used In Utah Code 63E-2-104
- Committee: means the Retirement and Independent Entities Committee created by Section 63E-1-201. See Utah Code 63E-1-102
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Independent corporation: means a corporation incorporated in accordance with Chapter 2, Independent Corporations Act. See Utah Code 63E-1-102
(1)(a) review by the Retirement and Independent Entities Committee in accordance with Chapter 1, Independent Entities Act; and
(1)(b) the authority of the legislative auditor general in accordance with Utah Constitution, Article VI, § 33, and Section 36-12-15.
(2) Each independent corporation shall report, as requested, to the committee on matters related to audits.
