(1) The Utah Administrative Code shall be divided into three parts:
Terms Used In Utah Code 63G-3-702
- Code: means the body of all effective rules as compiled and organized by the office and entitled "Utah Administrative Code. See Utah Code 63G-3-102
- Effective: means operative and enforceable. See Utah Code 63G-3-102
- File: means to submit a document to the office as prescribed by the office. See Utah Code 63G-3-102
- Office: means the Office of Administrative Rules created in Section 63G-3-401. See Utah Code 63G-3-102
- Rule: includes the amendment or repeal of an existing rule. See Utah Code 63G-3-102
(1)(a) titles, whose number shall begin with “R”;
(1)(b) rules; and
(1)(c) sections.
(2) All sections contained in the code are referenced by a three-part number indicating its location in the code.
(3) The office shall maintain the official compilation of the code and is the state-designated repository for administrative rules. If a dispute arises in which there is more than one version of a rule, the latest effective version on file with the office is considered the correct, current version.
