Utah Code 64-13-43. Use of state vehicles by department personnel

The executive director may authorize the use of a state vehicle for:

(1) official and commute purposes for a department employee who:

Department: means the Department of Corrections. See Utah Code 64-13-1
Executive director: means the executive director of the Department of Corrections. See Utah Code 64-13-1
State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5

(1)(a) supervises probationers or parolees; or

(1)(b) investigates the criminal activity of inmates, probationers, or parolees; and

(2) off-duty personal use.
