(1) A person may not operate a personal watercraft on the waters of this state between sunset and sunrise.
Terms Used In Utah Code 73-18-15.3
- Operate: means to navigate, control, or otherwise use a vessel. See Utah Code 73-18-2
- Person: means :(24)(a) an individual;(24)(b) an association;(24)(c) an institution;(24)(d) a corporation;(24)(e) a company;(24)(f) a trust;(24)(g) a limited liability company;(24)(h) a partnership;(24)(i) a political subdivision;(24)(j) a government office, department, division, bureau, or other body of government; and(24)(k) any other organization or entity. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
- Personal watercraft: means a motorboat that is:
(16)(a) less than 16 feet in length;(16)(b) propelled by a water jet pump; and(16)(c) designed to be operated by a person sitting, standing, or kneeling on the vessel, rather than sitting or standing inside the vessel. See Utah Code 73-18-2- Waters of this state: means any waters within the territorial limits of this state. See Utah Code 73-18-2
