A will executed electronically but not in compliance with Subsection 75-2-1405(1) is an electronic will under this part if executed in compliance with the law of the jurisdiction where the testator is:
(1) physically located when the will is signed; or

- Electronic: means relating to technology having electrical, digital, magnetic, wireless, optical, electromagnetic, or similar capabilities. See Utah Code 75-2-1402
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- Testator: A male person who leaves a will at death.
- Testator: includes an individual of either sex. See Utah Code 75-1-201 v2
(2) domiciled or resides when the will is signed or when the testator dies.
