Terms Used In Utah Code 76-3-103
- Offense: means a violation of any penal statute of this state. See Utah Code 76-1-101.5
(1)(a) Capital felonies;
(1)(b) Felonies of the first degree;
(1)(c) Felonies of the second degree;
(1)(d) Felonies of the third degree.
(2) An offense designated as a felony either in this code or in another law, without specification as to punishment or category, is a felony of the third degree.
