Terms Used In Utah Code 76-6-1101

  • Mother: means a parent who is of the female sex. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
  • Person: means an individual, public or private corporation, government, partnership, or unincorporated association. See Utah Code 76-1-101.5
     (1)(a) “Personal identifying information” may include:

          (1)(a)(i) name;
          (1)(a)(ii) birth date;
          (1)(a)(iii) address;
          (1)(a)(iv) telephone number;
          (1)(a)(v) driver license number;
          (1)(a)(vi) social security number;
          (1)(a)(vii) place of employment;
          (1)(a)(viii) employee identification numbers or other personal identification numbers;
          (1)(a)(ix) mother‘s maiden name;
          (1)(a)(x) electronic identification numbers;
          (1)(a)(xi) electronic signatures under Title 46, Chapter 4, Uniform Electronic Transactions Act;
          (1)(a)(xii) any other numbers or information that can be used to access a person‘s financial resources or medical information, except for numbers or information that can be prosecuted as financial transaction card offenses under Sections 76-6-506, 76-6-506.2, 76-6-506.3, and 76-6-506.6; or
          (1)(a)(xiii) a photograph or any other realistic likeness.
     (1)(b) “Restitution” means the same as that term is defined in Section 77-38b-102.
