After entry of judgment of not guilty by reason of insanity, the court shall:
(1) determine on the record the offense of which the person otherwise would have been convicted and the maximum sentence he could have received; and

- Defendant: In a civil suit, the person complained against; in a criminal case, the person accused of the crime.
- Person: means :(24)(a) an individual;(24)(b) an association;(24)(c) an institution;(24)(d) a corporation;(24)(e) a company;(24)(f) a trust;(24)(g) a limited liability company;(24)(h) a partnership;(24)(i) a political subdivision;(24)(j) a government office, department, division, bureau, or other body of government; and(24)(k) any other organization or entity. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5(2) make specific findings regarding whether there is a victim of the crime for which the defendant has been found not guilty by reason of insanity and, if so, whether the victim wishes to be notified of any conditional release, discharge, or escape of the defendant.
