(1) The attorney general shall:

- Attorney general: means the Utah attorney general or a deputy attorney general. See Utah Code 77-42-102
- Offender: means an individual required to register as provided in Section 77-42-105. See Utah Code 77-42-102
(1)(a) develop and operate a system to collect, analyze, maintain, and disseminate information on offenders; and
(1)(b) make information listed in Section 77-42-104 available to the public.
(2) Any prosecuting attorney who obtains a conviction for an offense listed in Section 77-42-105 shall:
(2)(a) inform the attorney general within 45 business days of sentencing; and
(2)(b) in a manner prescribed by the attorney general, cooperate with a request for information by the attorney general.
(3) The attorney general shall:
(3)(a) provide the following additional information when available:
(3)(a)(i) the crimes for which the offender has been convicted;
(3)(a)(ii) a description of the offender’s targets; and
(3)(a)(iii) any other relevant identifying information as determined by the attorney general;
(3)(b) maintain the Utah White Collar Crime Offender Registry website; and
(3)(c) ensure that information is entered into the offender registry in a timely manner.
