(1) The presiding judge may order court proceedings to be held at another location within the jurisdiction if the presiding judge determines it is necessary because of:

- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- Writing: includes :(48)(a) printing;(48)(b) handwriting; and(48)(c) information stored in an electronic or other medium if the information is retrievable in a perceivable format. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5(1)(a) war;(1)(b) insurrection;(1)(c) pestilence;(1)(d) public calamity or natural disaster; or(1)(e) destruction of or danger to the building in which court is held.
(2) Any order to move court proceedings shall be reduced to writing and filed with the clerk of the court for publication.
