- Protective order: means :(2)(a) a sexual violence protective order; or(2)(b) an ex parte sexual violence protective order. See Utah Code 78B-7-502(2) A petitioner may be subject to criminal prosecution under Title 76, Chapter 8, Part 5, Falsification in Official Matters, for knowingly falsifying any statement or information provided for the purpose of obtaining a protective order.
