A cemetery maintenance district, municipality, individual, or other person that controls a cemetery shall:
(1) adopt policies and procedures for the regulation of its affairs and the conduct of its business, including policies and procedures for the following:

- Person: means :(24)(a) an individual;(24)(b) an association;(24)(c) an institution;(24)(d) a corporation;(24)(e) a company;(24)(f) a trust;(24)(g) a limited liability company;(24)(h) a partnership;(24)(i) a political subdivision;(24)(j) a government office, department, division, bureau, or other body of government; and(24)(k) any other organization or entity. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5(1)(a) setting of prices and other charges for services;(1)(b) sale of burial rights;(1)(c) regulation of headstones;(1)(d) care of headstones;(1)(e) regulation of flowers, shrubs, or other foliage placed or planted on an individual burial site; and(1)(f) compliance with provisions of this title and other governing provisions of law; and
(2) establish a record keeping system, including a secure backup of those records that is regularly updated.
