(1) Except for the information required or to be required on the marriage license application form, any information given by a marriage license applicant in compliance with this part:

Terms Used In Utah Code 81-2-208

  • Person: means :
         (24)(a) an individual;
         (24)(b) an association;
         (24)(c) an institution;
         (24)(d) a corporation;
         (24)(e) a company;
         (24)(f) a trust;
         (24)(g) a limited liability company;
         (24)(h) a partnership;
         (24)(i) a political subdivision;
         (24)(j) a government office, department, division, bureau, or other body of government; and
         (24)(k) any other organization or entity. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
  • Premarital counseling: includes group counseling, individual counseling, and couple counseling. See Utah Code 81-2-201
     (1)(a) shall be confidential information; and
     (1)(b) may not be released by any person, board, commission, or other entity.
(2) Notwithstanding Subsection (1), the premarital counseling board or board of commissioners may use the information given by a marriage license applicant, without identification of individuals, to compile and release statistical data.
