- Department: means the Department of Commerce. See Utah Code 58-1-102
- Dispense: means the delivery by a prescriber of a prescription drug or device to a patient, including the packaging, labeling, and security necessary to prepare and safeguard the drug or device for supplying to a patient. See Utah Code 58-88-201
- Dispensing practitioner: means an individual who:(2)(a) is currently licensed as:(2)(a)(i) a physician and surgeon under Chapter 67, Utah Medical Practice Act;(2)(a)(ii) an osteopathic physician and surgeon under Chapter 68, Utah Osteopathic Medical Practice Act;(2)(a)(iii) an advanced practice registered nurse under Subsection 58-31b-301(2)(d); or(2)(a)(iv) a physician assistant under Chapter 70a, Utah Physician Assistant Act;(2)(b) is authorized by state law to prescribe and administer drugs in the course of professional practice; and(2)(c) practices at a licensed dispensing practice. - Division: means the Division of Professional Licensing created in Section
58-1-103 . See Utah Code 58-1-102- Drug: means the same as that term is defined in Section 58-17b-102. See Utah Code 58-88-201
- Health care practice: means :
(4)(a) a health care facility as defined in Section 26B-2-201; or(4)(b) the offices of one or more private prescribers, whether for individual or group practice. See Utah Code 58-88-201- Licensed dispensing practice: means a health care practice that is licensed as a dispensing practice under Section 58-88-202. See Utah Code 58-88-201
- Licensee: includes any holder of a license, certificate, registration, permit, student card, or apprentice card authorized under this title. See Utah Code 58-1-102
- Obligee: means an individual, this state, another state, or other comparable jurisdiction to whom a duty of child support is owed, or who is entitled to reimbursement of child support or public assistance. See Utah Code 26B-9-201
- Obligor: means a person, firm, corporation, or the estate of a decedent owing a duty of support to this state, to an individual, to another state, or other corporate jurisdiction in whose behalf this state is acting. See Utah Code 26B-9-201
- Office: means the Office of Recovery Services. See Utah Code 26B-9-201
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
- Statute: A law passed by a legislature.
- Support: includes past-due, present, and future obligations established by:
(27)(a) a tribunal or imposed by law for the financial support, maintenance, medical, or dental care of a dependent child; and(27)(b) a tribunal for the financial support of a spouse or former spouse with whom the obligor's dependent child resides if the obligor also owes a child support obligation that is being enforced by the state. - Writing: includes :
