Terms Used In Vermont Statutes Title 10 Sec. 1622

  • Water pollution abatement and control facilities: means such equipment, conveyances, and structural or nonstructural facilities owned or operated by a municipality that are needed for and appurtenant to the prevention, management, treatment, storage, or disposal of stormwater, sewage, or waste, including a wastewater treatment facility, combined sewer separation facilities, an indirect discharge system, a wastewater system, flood resiliency work related to a structural facility, or a groundwater protection project. § 1622. Eligible projects

As used in this subchapter, eligible project costs for water pollution abatement and control facilities projects shall include equipment, conveyances, and structural or nonstructural facilities needed for and appurtenant to the prevention, management, treatment, storage, or disposal of sewage, waste, or stormwater, and the associated costs, including planning and design costs, necessary to construct the improvements, including costs to acquire land for the project.
