Terms Used In Vermont Statutes Title 10 Sec. 488
- Outdoor advertising: means a sign that advertises, calls attention, or directs a person to a business, association, profession, commodity, product, institution, service, entertainment, person, place, thing, or activity of any kind whatsoever, and is visible from a highway or other public right-of-way. See
- Person: shall include any natural person, corporation, municipality, the State of Vermont or any department, agency, or subdivision of the State, and any partnership, unincorporated association, or other legal entity. See
§ 488. Prohibition of other outdoor advertising
No person may erect or maintain outdoor advertising visible to the travelling public except as provided in this chapter. (Added 1967, No. 333 (Adj. Sess.), § 8, eff. March 23, 1968.)
