- Covered wild animal: means an animal that is a big game animal, game quadruped, game bird, fur-bearing animal, or crow. See
- Person: shall include any natural person, corporation, municipality, the State of Vermont or any department, agency, or subdivision of the State, and any partnership, unincorporated association, or other legal entity. See
§ 4922. Retrieval of covered wild animals
A person shall not intentionally or knowingly kill a covered wild animal and intentionally or knowingly fail to make a reasonable effort to retrieve the covered wild animal and use the covered wild animal as provided under this subchapter. (Added 2021, No. 110 (Adj. Sess.), § 1, eff. May 11, 2022.)
