§ 806. Resignation of director
A director may resign at any time by giving notice in a record to the mutual benefit enterprise. Unless the notice states a later effective date, a resignation is effective when the notice is received by the enterprise. (Added 2011, No. 84 (Adj. Sess.), § 1, eff. April 20, 2012.)

- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Person: shall include any natural person, corporation, municipality, the State of Vermont or any department, agency, or subdivision of the State, and any partnership, unincorporated association, or other legal entity. See
§ 806. Officers, directors and shareholders
No person may be an officer, director, or shareholder of a professional corporation who is not duly licensed to render the same specific professional services as those for which the corporation was organized.
