- Person: shall include any natural person, corporation, municipality, the State of Vermont or any department, agency, or subdivision of the State, and any partnership, unincorporated association, or other legal entity. See

§ 5405. Direction and service of writ
A writ of replevin shall not be directed to or served by a person other than an officer authorized by law to serve the same.
