- Health officer: means Commissioner of Health, the Commissioner's designee, or a local or district health officer. See
- Month: shall mean a calendar month and "year" shall mean a calendar year and be equivalent to the expression "year of our Lord. See
- Town: shall include city and wards or precincts therein; "selectboard members" and "board of civil authority" shall extend to and include the mayor and aldermen of cities; "trustees" shall extend to and include bailiffs of incorporated villages; and the laws applicable to the inhabitants and officers of towns shall be applicable to the inhabitants and similar officers of all municipal corporations. § 608. Inspection of schoolhouses and public buildings
The health officer, under the direction of the Commissioner, shall make a sanitary survey of each schoolhouse, all school lunch facilities, and any building used for public purposes and annually in the month of February report to the Commissioner and to the city council or the annual town meeting, as the case may be.
