Terms Used In Vermont Statutes Title 23 Sec. 2092

  • Commissioner: means the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles. See
  • Salvage certificate of title: means a title that is stamped or otherwise branded to indicate that the vehicle described thereon is a salvaged motor vehicle. See
  • Vehicle: means a motor vehicle as defined by section 4 of this title. See

§ 2092. Issuance of salvage title

The Commissioner shall file and maintain in the manner provided in section 2017 of this title each application received and when satisfied as to its genuineness and regularity and that the applicant is entitled to the issuance of a salvage certificate of title, shall issue a salvage certificate of title to the vehicle.
