Terms Used In Vermont Statutes Title 23 Sec. 3320
- Department: means Department of Motor Vehicles unless otherwise stated. See
- Person: means an individual, partnership, firm, corporation, association, or other entity. See
- Town: shall include city and wards or precincts therein; "selectboard members" and "board of civil authority" shall extend to and include the mayor and aldermen of cities; "trustees" shall extend to and include bailiffs of incorporated villages; and the laws applicable to the inhabitants and officers of towns shall be applicable to the inhabitants and similar officers of all municipal corporations. § 3320. Motorboats on Dufresne Dam waters prohibited
(a) The use and operation of motorboats on the waters impounded by the Dufresne Dam, so-called, on the Battenkill River in the Town of Manchester is prohibited.
(b) The Department of Fish and Wildlife shall post notice of this section conspicuously at the boat launching areas at the Dufresne Dam impoundment.
(c) A person who violates this section shall be fined not more than $20.00 for each offense. (Added 1983, No. 212 (Adj. Sess.), § 2; amended 2021, No. 76, § 21.)
