Terms Used In Vermont Statutes Title 24 Sec. 4402

  • Bylaws: means municipal regulations applicable to land development adopted under the authority of this chapter. See
  • Fees: shall mean earnings due for official services, aside from salaries or per diem compensation. See
  • following: when used by way of reference to a section of the law shall mean the next preceding or following section. See
  • Municipality: means a town, a city, or an incorporated village or an unorganized town or gore. See
  • Plan: means a municipal plan adopted under section 4385 of this title. See

§ 4402. Bylaws and regulatory implementation tools authorized

A municipality may adopt regulatory tools, including the following specific regulatory tools which are more fully described in subchapter 7 of this chapter:

(1) Zoning bylaws.

(2) Site plan bylaws.

(3) Subdivision bylaws.

(4) Unified development bylaws.

(5) Official map.

(6) Impact fees.

(7) Phasing.

(8) Transfer of development rights.

(9) Special or freestanding bylaws. (Added 2003, No. 115 (Adj. Sess.), § 92.)
