Terms Used In Vermont Statutes Title 26 Sec. 1626
- Board: means the Vermont State Board of Nursing. See
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- License: means a current authorization permitting the practice of nursing as a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, or advanced practice registered nurse, or the practice as a nursing assistant. See
§ 1626. Practical nurse licensure by endorsement
To be eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by endorsement, an applicant shall:
(1) hold a current license to practice practical nursing in another U.S. jurisdiction based on education in a nursing program acceptable to the Board; and
