- Speech-language pathologist: means a person licensed to practice speech-language pathology under this chapter. See
- Speech-language pathology: means the application of principles, methods, and procedures related to the development and disorders of human communication, which include any and all conditions that impede the normal process of human communication. See
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States may apply to the District of Columbia and any territory and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. See

§ 4505. Compact privilege to practice telehealth
Member states shall recognize the right of an audiologist or speech-language pathologist, licensed by a home state in accordance with section 4503 of this subchapter and under rules promulgated by the Commission, to practice audiology or speech-language pathology in any member state via telehealth under a privilege to practice as provided in the Compact and rules promulgated by the Commission.
