Terms Used In Vermont Statutes Title 26 Sec. 5324

  • Electronic: means relating to technology having electrical, digital, magnetic, wireless, optical, electromagnetic, or similar capabilities. See
  • Fees: shall mean earnings due for official services, aside from salaries or per diem compensation. See
  • Notary public: means an individual commissioned to perform a notarial act by the Office. See
  • Office: means the Office of Professional Regulation within the Office of the Secretary of State. See

§ 5324. Fees

(a) For the issuance of a commission as a notary public, the Office shall collect a fee of $30.00.

(b) For issuance of a special endorsement authorizing the performance of electronic and remote notarial acts in accordance with subsection 5341(d) of this chapter, the Office shall collect a fee of $30.00.
