- Life estate: A property interest limited in duration to the life of the individual holding the interest (life tenant).
§ 659. Previously executed and recorded enhanced life estate deeds
Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to affect the validity of an enhanced life estate deed, a “Life Estate Deed with Reserved Powers,” a “Lady Bird Deed,” a “Medicaid Deed,” an “Italian Deed,” or similar deed executed and recorded prior to July 13, 2020.
