Terms Used In Vermont Statutes Title 30 Sec. 3038
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
- Fees: shall mean earnings due for official services, aside from salaries or per diem compensation. See
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States may apply to the District of Columbia and any territory and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. See
§ 3038. Fees
(a) There shall be paid to the Secretary of State fees for filing as follows:
(1) Articles of incorporation, $15.00;
(2) Articles of amendment, $10.00;
(3) Articles of consolidation or merger, $15.00;
(4) Articles of conversion, $10.00;
(5) Certificate of election to dissolve, $5.00;
(6) Articles of dissolution, $5.00; and
(7) Certificate of change of principal office, $5.00.
(b) Such fees shall include two certified copies of the respective instruments. (Amended 1963, No. 37, § 19.)
