Terms Used In Vermont Statutes Title 32 Sec. 105

  • Executor: A male person named in a will to carry out the decedent
  • Person: shall include any natural person, corporation, municipality, the State of Vermont or any department, agency, or subdivision of the State, and any partnership, unincorporated association, or other legal entity. See
  • Settlement: Parties to a lawsuit resolve their difference without having a trial. Settlements often involve the payment of compensation by one party in satisfaction of the other party's claims.

§ 105. Settlement upon death of Treasurer

If a person dies while holding such office, the settlement provided for in sections 103 and 104 of this title shall be made with his or her executor or administrator.
