Terms Used In Vermont Statutes Title 32 Sec. 3763

  • Appraisal: A determination of property value.
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States may apply to the District of Columbia and any territory and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. See
  • Town: shall include city and wards or precincts therein; "selectboard members" and "board of civil authority" shall extend to and include the mayor and aldermen of cities; "trustees" shall extend to and include bailiffs of incorporated villages; and the laws applicable to the inhabitants and officers of towns shall be applicable to the inhabitants and similar officers of all municipal corporations. § 3763. Public records

Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary in 1 V.S.A. § 317, section 3102 of this title, or any other provision of law, the names and addresses of taxpayers, the description of eligible property, the current use valuation of such property participating in the Current Use Value Appraisal Program under this chapter and the amount reimbursed by the State to the town with respect to the eligible property shall be public records subject to public inspection and copying under 1 Vt.
