Terms Used In Vermont Statutes Title 32 Sec. 7736
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
- Commissioner: shall mean the Commissioner of Taxes. See
- Dealer: means any wholesale dealer and retail dealer as herein defined. See
- Person: shall mean any individual, firm, fiduciary, partnership, corporation, trust, or association, however formed. See
§ 7736. Revocation and suspension of licenses
The Commissioner may revoke or suspend the license of any licensed wholesale dealer for failure to comply with any provision of this chapter, for failure to comply with the provisions of 11 Vt. Stat. Ann. chapter 15, or for failure to comply with the provisions of 33 Vt. Stat. Ann. chapter 19, subchapter 1B. Any person aggrieved by such revocation or suspension may apply to the Commissioner for a hearing as provided in section 7782 of this title and may further appeal to the courts as provided in section 7783 of this title.
