Terms Used In Vermont Statutes Title 5 Sec. 428

  • Aircraft: means a contrivance used or designed for navigation of or flight in the air and specifically includes ultralight aircraft. See
  • Person: means an individual, firm, partnership, corporation, company, association, joint stock association, or body politic, including a trustee, receiver, assignee, or other similar representative. See

§ 428. Reporting an aircraft

A person who demands money or any other thing of value or a benefit for himself or herself or another as a condition for disclosing the location of an aircraft that has crashed, crash-landed, or is missing shall be fined not more than $1,000.00 or imprisoned not more than 90 days, or both.
