- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
§ 9—809. Priority
The Act determines the priority of conflicting claims to collateral. However, if the relative priorities of the claims were established before the Act takes effect, Article 9 of this title, as it existed before amendment by the Act, determines priority. (Added 2013, No. 157 (Adj. Sess.), § 1.)
