Virginia Code 15.2-401: Adoption of county board form

Any county may adopt the county board form of government in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 3 (§ 15.2-300 et seq.) of this title.

County: means any existing county or such unit hereafter created. See Virginia Code 15.2-102
