Terms Used In Virginia Code 23.1-2425

  • Authority: means the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System Authority. See Virginia Code 23.1-2400
  • Board: means the board of directors of the Authority. See Virginia Code 23.1-2400
  • Freedom of Information Act: A federal law that mandates that all the records created and kept by federal agencies in the executive branch of government must be open for public inspection and copying. B. For purposes of the Virginia Freedom of Information Act (§ 2.2-3700 et seq.), meetings of the board are not considered meetings of the board of visitors of the University. Meetings of the board may be conducted through electronic communication means as provided in § 2.2-3708.3.
