No loan made by an association shall be made for a greater amount in the aggregate to any person than 20 percent of the paid-in capital stock and capital surplus of the association.

Terms Used In Virginia Code 6.2-1410

  • Association: means a corporation organized as an industrial loan association under the provisions of the Virginia Stock Corporation Act (§ Virginia Code 6.2-1400
  • Person: means any individual, corporation, partnership, association, cooperative, limited liability company, trust, joint venture, government, political subdivision, or other legal or commercial entity. See Virginia Code 6.2-100
