This chapter provides the exclusive jurisdictional basis for a court of this state to appoint a guardian or issue a protective order for an adult under chapter 11.130 RCW.

Terms Used In Washington Code 11.90.210
- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
- Issue: means all the lineal descendants of an individual. See Washington Code 11.02.005
