The commission is composed of seventeen voting members, as follows: Ten producers, four dealers, and two processors, who are appointed as provided in this chapter. The director, or an authorized representative, shall be a voting member of the commission. Other sections of this chapter that relate to the selection of voting members shall not apply to the director or his or her authorized representative.
Terms Used In Washington Code 15.28.020
- Commission: means the Washington state fruit commission. See Washington Code 15.28.010
- Director: means the director of agriculture. See Washington Code 15.28.010
- Quorum: The number of legislators that must be present to do business.
A majority of the voting members constitute a quorum for the transaction of any business.
