Any change in the organization of any firm, association, exchange, corporation, or partnership licensed under this chapter shall be reported to the director and the licensee‘s surety or sureties within thirty days.
Terms Used In Washington Code 20.01.140
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Director: means the director of agriculture or a duly authorized representative. See Washington Code 20.01.010
- Licensee: means any person or business licensed under this chapter as a commission merchant, dealer, limited dealer, broker, cash buyer, or agent. See Washington Code 20.01.010
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
