The director shall have the power to subpoena witnesses, compel their attendance, require the production of evidence, administer oaths, and examine any person under oath in connection with any subject related to a duty imposed or a power vested in the director.

Terms Used In Washington Code 30B.10.090
- Director: means the director of the Washington state department of financial institutions. See Washington Code 30B.04.005
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- Oath: A promise to tell the truth.
- Person: means an individual, a company, or any other legal entity. See Washington Code 30B.04.005
- Subpoena: A command to a witness to appear and give testimony.
