Upon receipt of any recommended official control or amendment thereto, the board shall at its next regular public meeting set the date for a public meeting where it may, by ordinance, adopt or reject the official control or amendment.

Terms Used In Washington Code 36.70.620
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
- Board: means the board of county commissioners. See Washington Code 36.70.020
- ordinance: is synonymous with the term "resolution" as representing a legislative enactment by a board of county commissioners. See Washington Code 36.70.020
