Persons confined other than in a guard house, whether before, during, or after trial by a military court, shall be confined in civil jails, penitentiaries, or prisons designated by the governor or the adjutant general.
Terms Used In Washington Code 38.38.080
- Military court: means a court-martial or a court of inquiry. See Washington Code 38.38.004
- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
