A person appointed by the court as a referee or who serves as a referee with the consent of the parties shall be:
Terms Used In Washington Code 4.48.040
- Juror: A person who is on the jury.
- person: may be construed to include the United States, this state, or any state or territory, or any public or private corporation or limited liability company, as well as an individual. See Washington Code 1.16.080
- Statute: A law passed by a legislature.
(1) Qualified as a juror as provided by statute.
(2) Competent as juror between the parties.
(3) A duly admitted and practicing attorney.
