The affordable housing for all account is created in the state treasury, subject to appropriation. Expenditures from the account may only be used for allowable uses as described in RCW 36.22.250(5). During the 2021-2023 fiscal biennium, expenditures from the account may be used for operations, maintenance, and services for permanent supportive housing as defined in RCW 36.70A.030. It is the intent of the legislature to continue this policy in future biennia.
