(1) The director is authorized, in the director’s discretion, to provide funding to employers to purchase additional equipment that may be needed to comply with a rule adopted under RCW 49.17.520. The maximum amount of funding each year is two percent of the premiums paid into the accident fund in the prior year from employers subject to a rule adopted under RCW 49.17.520.
