The secretary is authorized to enter into agreements with any nonprofit corporation or association for the purpose of providing and coordinating voluntary and community-based services for the treatment or rehabilitation of persons admitted or committed to any institution under the supervision of the department.

Terms Used In Washington Code 72.01.480
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Department: means the departments of social and health services, children, youth, and families, and corrections; and
Washington Code 72.01.010person: may be construed to include the United States, this state, or any state or territory, or any public or private corporation or limited liability company, as well as an individual. See Washington Code 1.16.080 Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant. Secretary: means the secretaries of social and health services, children, youth, and families, and corrections. See Washington Code 72.01.010
