A guardian shall not apply any portion of the income or the estate for the support or maintenance of any person including the ward, the spouse or the domestic partner, and the minor children of the ward, except upon petition to and prior order of the court after a hearing. A signed duplicate or certified copy of said petition shall be furnished the proper office of the veterans administration and notice of hearing thereon shall be given said office as provided in the case of hearing on a guardian‘s account or other pleading.

- Estate: means income on hand and assets acquired partially or wholly with "income. See Washington Code 73.36.010
- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
- Guardian: means any fiduciary for the person or estate of a ward. See Washington Code 73.36.010
- Income: means moneys received from the veterans administration and revenue or profit from any property wholly or partially acquired therewith. See Washington Code 73.36.010
- Person: means an individual, a partnership, a corporation, or an association. See Washington Code 73.36.010
- Veterans administration: means the veterans administration, its predecessors or successors. See Washington Code 73.36.010
- Ward: means a beneficiary of the veterans administration. See Washington Code 73.36.010
