  • Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
  • Lien: A claim against real or personal property in satisfaction of a debt.
  • person: may be construed to include the United States, this state, or any state or territory, or any public or private corporation or limited liability company, as well as an individual. See Washington Code 1.16.080
  • Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
  • surveyor: means every person authorized to practice the profession of land surveying under the provisions of chapter 18. See Washington Code 58.04.003
